How to get pets in Big Boy
Bunny, Chick and Kitten are guaranteed pets you earn by taking their eggs out of Chef’s pantry and hatching them near spawn. You choose the egg; hatching does not roll a random pet, and these three friends do not require a Robux purchase.
Take an egg, then escape
- Find the START PANTRY RUN arch. Use Start pantry run to begin the timed adventure. The current run lasts 45 seconds.
- Choose one pet egg on Chef's shelf. Walk close and use Take egg beside Bunny, Chick or Kitten. You can carry one prize per run: an egg or the Giant Pancake.
- Return to the entrance or the mint ESCAPE mat. Use Escape pantry before the timer ends. Simply picking up the egg does not save it; you must finish the escape.
- Visit the Hatchery near spawn. Open Pets → Friends, choose your saved egg and press Hatch. You must be near the Hatchery to hatch it.
Keep moving when Chef spots you. Hold Shift on a keyboard or use Run on touch devices to run. If Chef catches you or time runs out, that run's unescaped prize is lost, but your existing tray snacks, Growth and already owned pets stay safe. Try again when you are ready.
Bring a friend along
Hatching equips the new pet automatically. In Pets → Friends, use Follow to choose a different owned friend or Rest to put the current follower away. Only one pet follows you at a time; resting it does not remove ownership.
Pets are cosmetic companions. Their looks do not promise a hidden Growth or Crumb multiplier. The Tricks tab includes a free Hop and additional tricks earned with Crumbs. Accessories lets you dress up your friend; read each item's requirement before choosing it.
What about Rainbow Dragon?
Rainbow Dragon is a separate guaranteed unlock in Pets or Shop, with an earned Crumb route and an optional Robux route. It is not one of Chef's three hatchable eggs. Use the current in-game offer and Roblox checkout for the price rather than relying on an old guide or screenshot.
Egg or pet missing?
Check Pets → Friends first: an egg waiting for Hatch is different from an owned pet waiting for Follow. If the egg was never escaped with, replay the pantry run. If you already own that pet or have its saved egg, choose a different egg on your next run.
